Meet the Knights

Virago is a Royal Knight of Arktos City, capital of Arktos, a country of (mostly–they’re not going to kick anyone out!) women loving women on the world of Agrotera.  She has piercing, icy blue eyes, wears a wolf tail in her hair (it’s from a cannibal werewolf) and wields her beloved sword (named, appropriately, Wolfslayer) with the grace of a dancer.  She’s funny, charming and generous, but she can be a little too chivalrous and overprotective.  She grew up in the poorest section of Arktos City, known as Ratter Prison (not a fun place to live!), and her parents died when she was a kid.  Her mother had wanted to be a knight, but became a storyteller instead.  In her honor Virago became a knight (who really likes telling stories around a fire).  She’s incredibly good with animals, really likes coffee (now that Holly has introduced her to it) and is a voracious reader (her favorite book would probably be a lesbian romance novel–she’s a true romantic at heart!).

Holly is a librarian who wants the type of romance that will sweep her off her feet–unfortunately, she has terrible luck in finding the right lady.  She’s had a string of bad relationships and is considering settling for the wrong woman…until a gorgeous lady knight appears in her backyard…wielding a sword.  Holly is a complete romantic and always has her nose stuck in a book, with a freshly brewed coffee close at hand.  She loves her dog Shelley (a Collie mix) to the moon and back, and is obsessed with Renaissance festivals (she’s kind of a nerd), collects unicorn figurines and has a “to be read” pile of books in her bedroom that could kill her if it collapsed.  Her brother, Aidan, is a witch and runs the local Pagan shop, and her (slightly quirky, slightly crazy) best friend Carly is a producer at the local public access television station.  Holly’s mother died after a hard, prolonged battle with cancer, and Holly stopped being brave (and truly living) the day her mother died.  But when Holly meets Virago, her heart starts to open again.

The rest of the bios are coming soon!

Who are the cover models in your books? The lady that is photographed as Virago is beautiful! Her eyes are hypnotizing. What is her name? By any chance, does she act?

    • She really is! 🙂 I’m so sorry, but I don’t actually know her name–I buy all of my stock photos from various stock sites, and stock sites never give the name of the model. I hope she does act! She has an incredible presence to her. 🙂

  4. Gaby says:

What is the name of the model for Virago on your book cover?

    • Hi Gaby! 🙂 I’m sorry to say that I don’t actually know her name–I buy all of my stock photos from various stock sites, and stock sites never give the name of the model.

      • Raven says:

You know who another great model would be? CATHY DEBUONO! God! She is beautiful! Make her a knight!

        • Oh, my goodness, I love her! She totally would! 🙂 I buy all of my stock photos from stock photo sites for the covers, so it wouldn’t exactly work, unfortunately (unless she does a photo shoot for stock photos! One can dream!).

          • Raven says:

If only! Hey, It could happen! 🙂 Just thought Cathy would be open to it since another author (Gina Glass) got her to come out on the cover of her book “Spitfire”. She’s so fine on that pic! Either way, the stock photos are pretty good too. 😉

I would love to see Charaxus and Mara’s story continue or just to find out what happened those several months after being pulled through the portal? A Dark and Stormy Knight, has quickly became one of my top favorite books. The story and the emotional narration of Maria Marquis just huts my heart every time.

    • I’m so, so glad you love A DARK AND STORMY KNIGHT so much, Jessica–that makes me so happy. 🙂 Charaxus and Mara will appear in other knight books, but–at this time–I don’t have further plans to develop their story in their own books. Maybe someday! I follow the story where it wants me to go, so you never know! 🙂 Again, thank you for the kind words–they made me so happy! ♥

Hello, I’ve just finished the first book, but I have something to ask, I’m brazilian and I was wondering if it will be translated by any chance?

  7. LC Aisling says:

So…. I picked up A dark and Stormy Knight – Loved it a lot.
Do you already have Kell’s story coming out soon? Can’t wait to read it.
