The Knight Legends

Women knights, real-world hi-jinks and love stories that transcend time.  Each novel in the Knight Legends series is a stand-alone novel that concentrates on a specific knight, and you don’t have to read the books in any sort of order, but I’ve placed them in chronological order here on the page, and I even made a timeline for those who would like to read them in order based on said timeline.  🙂

A librarian, a warrior woman, and a love story that’s out of this world…

Holly tells herself that the reason she hasn’t asked her girlfriend to move in (after four years of dating) is that she’s too busy–but it isn’t true. A very book-obsessed librarian, Holly has buried herself in so many romantic and magical stories, that at night, she dreams of a woman who will sweep her off her feet–something her indifferent girlfriend has never done. But one night, during an unusually vicious storm, magic and romance appear in Holly’s backyard in the form of a mysterious, gorgeous woman…wielding a sword.

The dashing stranger’s name is Virago. She claims that she’s a warrior on the hunt for a great and terrible beast; that she, and the beast, slipped through a portal from their world into ours. Holly isn’t sure what to believe, but she is now responsible for a (possibly crazy) swordswoman who is bewildered by modern-day conveniences like escalators, but not by the chivalry of sweeping a woman off her feet.

Can Holly help Virago find her own world again, or will that falling-in-love thing get in the way? And, of course, there’s the tiny problem of the beast Virago wounded that is now seeking revenge…

Once, there was a librarian, a warrior woman, and a love story that was out of this world…and now they’re back in an all-new adventure!

Holly would never have believed that the gorgeous woman who appeared in her backyard one magical night (wielding a sword) would turn out to be the love of her life–but the lady knight Virago is exactly that. Virago and Holly are madly in love, and Virago is still learning the ways of our world (and becoming slightly addicted to coffee). But as much as Virago loves Holly, she can’t forget the world she came from.

One night, another massive storm descends on Boston, and this time, four new women appear in Holly’s backyard, each one of them wielding a sword. They are close friends and fellow knights of Virago, but they’re not here to visit. They have come through the portal to ask Virago back one last time. The queen of Virago’s beloved city is in danger and needs Virago’s help.

Holly is a librarian who always wished magic was real. And now, her new girlfriend is going to take her to another world. With an assassin on the loose and an evil king out to get the queen, what could possibly go wrong?

DATE KNIGHT is a light-hearted, fantastical romance that will take you on a journey you’ll never forget. It is a sequel to A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER.

A warrior woman, a lonely artist, and a love story that’s out of this world…

Mara, a painter, lives in a quirky artist community in downtown Buffalo, and though she loves her roommates like family, she has always felt alone. But, each night, a sexy, dark-haired woman haunts her dreams, dreams that almost help her forget the betrayal and pain she’s suffered in her life. She paints to block out the bad memories, and in every painting, the woman from her dreams–as if by magic–appears.

One fateful night, Mara rescues a drowning person from the Buffalo River: a beautiful woman with a serious wound who claims to be a knight from another world. The woman’s name is Charaxus, and–despite her outlandish story–she inspires longings in Mara that she has never felt before. As her attraction to Charaxus grows, Mara discovers that the mysterious, brooding knight is telling the truth–and that she is the woman Mara has been dreaming about for a lifetime.

But someone dangerous and dark is hunting Charaxus, and is it Mara’s fate to lose the woman of her dreams forever?

A warrior woman (sort of), a baker, and a love story that’s out of this world…

Cinda has been baking cakes since she was old enough to measure sugar, and she’d tell you that she has a good life. A relationship with one of the sexier royal knights of Arktos City is high on the list of what’s good…but when the lady knight breaks up with her for a fairly stupid reason, Cinda needs a night out on the town to forget her pain…

Talis has been working as a stablehand in the royal stables of Arktos since she arrived in the city three years ago. She wants to be a knight more than anything else in the world, but when she gets the bad news that because of her notorious family she might not ever even get the chance to become a squire—let alone a knight—she needs a night out on the town to forget her pain…

But when her best friend, Lellie, convinces her to wear a suit of stolen armor (and “borrow” a warrior mare), it sets into motion a night of fantastical adventures, mistaken identity and a sweeping love story.

Can two women fall in love in just one night?

A warrior woman, a DJ from Boston, and a love story that’s out of this world…

Josie Beckett is a shock jock DJ–she’s sarcastic, funny and doesn’t believe in anything at all, certainly not in magic. But she’s going to start believing when she finds herself no longer in her apartment’s basement…but in the wild woods of another world entirely. And falling (literally) onto a woman who makes her heart skip a beat.

Attis, the mysterious, dashing woman Josie unceremoniously fell onto, was once a knight…but tragedy caused her to give up her dream. Josie is now on another world, a world where cheap coffee, twenty-four hour hot dog stands and radio don’t exist–and she has no idea how to get home. When Attis offers to let Josie accompany her to the capital city of this strange, magical country, Josie embarks on the ride of her life. There’s so much more to Attis than meets the eye, and in the span of a couple of days, Josie finds herself falling for the brooding, quiet warrior woman who was there to catch her.

Can the two women find a way back to Josie’s world…or will love make Josie want to stay? And, of course, there’s the tiny problem that, in the dark woods of this strange, new world, there is something following Josie and Attis…

Very heartwarming to learn of Kai – made my day and brought
    A happy tear.

    • *laughing* I’m so glad you’re excited about FOREVER AND A KNIGHT, Min! 🙂 That makes me so happy! I’ll let you know the minute I release it, and I really do plan to have it out before Christmas!

  4. Lyss says:

I just finished the first two of the Knight series. I read a review that holly and virago return in this book. How much are they in it? Also will there be another book about their adventures again? Im still debating on reading forever and a Knight because I’m so in love with virago and Holly and I’m not sure if I will love the new characters as much.

    • Hi Lyss! 🙂 I’m so glad you loved A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER and DATE KNIGHT so much–that makes me so happy! Holly and Virago are in the latter half of FOREVER AND A KNIGHT and have a large part, but they’re not the focus of the story. All of my knight books are designed (except for DATE KNIGHT!) to be able to be read if you haven’t read the others–but that being said, I have plans to make this a very big series. 🙂 I hope you do give the other books a try–you may not love some of the women as much, but you may love some of them more. I hope this helps! 🙂

  5. Seyoon says:

I ordered A Knight to Remember from Amazon(it took about 3 weeks-South Korea) and read it yesterday. I loved it. I could relate with Holly because I too seem to fall for wrong person. I cried reading the scene where Holly cries in her room. The one I love seems as foreign as Virago because I can’t even understand how I can fall for such a person.

I hope you have no problem understanding my English. I enjoyed your book. It was cute, warm and full of hope. Thank you.

    Love,

    Seyoon

  6. Diana Lacuesta says:

Just wanted to say I loved your Knights series very much and hope you really are going to continue the series soon.

    • Hi Diana! 🙂 Thank you so much–I’m so glad you love them! That makes me so happy. 🙂 They’re my favorite things that I’ve ever written, so it makes me feel over the moon when readers tell me they love them, too! I hope to continue the series with A DARK AND STORMY KNIGHT’s publication next month, May, so watch for it coming soon! 🙂

Hello! I just recently discovered your novels, and I was instantly intrigued. I read the first two in the same amount of days. I have never been one to read such modern fiction – especially with a more young, romantic vibe, but I adored your books.

I was curious to know if you would ever consider providing more of Holly and Virago! I’d love to find out what Holly would do living in Agrotera!

Thank you for the beautiful pieces,
    Catarina

    • Hi Catarina! 🙂 Thank you so, so much for your kind words! Yes, absolutely–Virago and Holly’s story is going to continue in LADIES’ KNIGHT, which is one of the books that will be out in the next few months! 🙂 Again, thank you–I appreciate it so much!

  8. Eli says:

    Hi Bridget,
I just binged on the entire Knight Legends and I’m about to have a major withdrawal! Thank you so much for sharing your stories, they became my soothing balm this week. Btw, I’m totally crushing on Charaxus!!! I would love to see more of her and Mara! I’m wondering if there is a plan on releasing audiobooks of the rest of the series?

thank you for these awesome stories,
    Eli

    • Hi Eli! 🙂 Awww, thank you so, so much for your kind comments–they made my day! 🙂 I’m so glad you loved the books so much! ♥

Did you see that DATE KNIGHT was just released a few days ago in audio? https://www.amazon.com/Date-Knight/dp/B01MY7E9WW/ref=sr_1_1_twi_audd_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1487032940&sr=1-1&keywords=date+knight Other than that, FOREVER AND A KNIGHT and A DARK AND STORMY KNIGHT are both in production right now! 🙂 I’ll definitely update here when they’re released.

As far as Charaxus (I’m so glad you love her! ♥ ) and Mara, you’ll definitely see them in other knight books, just not as the main characters. 🙂

Again, thank you so much for the kind words–I’m so, so glad you enjoyed the stories! ♥

      Warmly,
      Bridget

      • Eli says:

  9. Jessica Littlefield says:

Honestly ever since I graduated highschool I fell into a reading rut. I started virago’s story three or so days ago and have finished all of the night books and am reading your novellas now! I ave never fallen for a writer’s words so deeply. The way your words flow is so perfect and I cannot get enough of your stories! I can’t wait for new releases of your work and am so excited you intend to continue the knight stories because that are by far one of my favorite books I’ve ever read! Virago is an absolute dream and I relate to your stories so much. I squeal whenever things get romantic! So glad I found your books and even happier to know I can sign up to get updates. Can’t wait to read on!!

    • Hi Jessica! 🙂 Thank you so, so much for your kind words–they made my day! I’m so happy that you love my knight stories so much! 🙂 Wow–favorite books you’ve ever read! 10. Sara Rothamel says:

I had no idea this entire genre existed until I found a Knight to Remember on Audible. It’s my go-to book when I need something playing while I work now. And then I finished what I thought was the only sequel. So happy to find this page and that there are more books to answer all the cliff hangers on other characters, these books are like crack!

    • That makes me so, so happy, Sarah! I’m so glad that you love my stories so much. 😀 And I’m so glad you find them so addictive! This made my day! ♥ Thank you so much for telling me. 🙂

      Warmly,
      Bridget

  11. Toni says:

I am so excited there’s another book!! I cannot tell you how much I love them! The knight theme is pure genius and I just love the way you set the scenes through your writing. Once I start reading I cannot stop.. Thank you so much for this series, I couldn’t imagine a better genre.
I’ve recently introduced my girlfriend to your books too and she’s as addicted as I am! Neither of us can pick a favourite😂
I cannot recommend them highly enough, thank you for sharing them.
    Toni

    • Toni, this comment made my day!! Thank you so, so much for your kind words and for telling me how much you love the knights. ♥ I’m so, so glad that you do, and I’m so glad you made the time to tell me! ♥ ♥ ♥

  12. Kim says:

Hi there! I’ve just binge read A Knight To Remember and Date Knight. I must admit it’s awesome and I am a complete junkie now. I don’t usually leave comments but, this time I had too. I’m looking forward to reading some more of your books and also can’t wait for this new one.

    Cheers Bridget

    Kim

  13. Roxy the Leo says:

Hi! I’d like to thank you very much for these series. I’ve had an incredible appetite for lesbian lady knights as of late, and one that is closely related to time-traveling. It’s hard to find stories with those two as one of the themes in a book and have only found one novel that met my current taste. YOUR NOVELS THOUGH IS AN ABSOLUTE GODSEND. Although it’s not time-traveling, it’s next to the best if not more! These series is easily on par with my favorite lady knight novel “Lady Knight” by LJ Baker and I love your Knights Legends so much, I can’t wait for more! I especially can’t wait to read more about Holly and Virago (even if they make small appearances or are just mentioned by others)! I see a cover of them two for your next novel and I seriously can’t wait! Thank you again!

    -Leo

  14. Andrea D Cantu says:

Will Kalla ever get true love?

    • Hi Andrea! 🙂 Thanks so much for your question! And yes, I promise, Calla gets a grand adventure and a love that crosses worlds. ❤ STARRY KNIGHT, her novel, is hopefully coming before the end of the year! ❤

  15. timsbrannan says:

I just finished “Knight to Remember”. That was such a great book! I came across it looking for a book that featured a Knight and a Witch that fall in love (I review witch books). Your book had a witch! Ok the knight and the witch didn’t fall in love, but things worked out better!
I have to admit I was cheering at the end during the Ren-Faire Jousting scene!
Great job. Loved the book, loved Holly and Virago’s story and happy they ended up “Happily ever after” in the end. Looking forward to reading more. Just added “Under Her Spell” to my wish list.

  16. vicky92kp says:

Just finished a knight to remember and date knight, I love holly and Virago’s stories so much 🙂 I can’t wait for ladies knight to share in another adventure, with this magical realm (wishing I could live there) and see this epic love story develope even more!!

    • Aw, this makes me so, so happy! 🙂 Thank you so much for the kind words and enthusiasm, you made my day! ♥ I’m so glad you’re excited about LADIES’ KNIGHT–I can’t wait to get it out there, and I hope you love it when I do! ♥

      • vicky92kp says:

I’m sure I will!!! Do you have any time scale for ladies knight as of yet?
I also just finished raised by wolves 😱 I think I’m quickly becoming a super fan hehe

  17. Terese DiMercurio says:

Reading through (a second time!) A Knight to Remember and Date Night, right before my wedding to my own lady knight in shining armor. Your books were exactly what I needed when I found them, and they’re one of the few stories I feel as though I can read over and over again. I cannot WAIT for Ladies’ Knight!

  18. sav says:

I have just read A Knight To Remember and omg it absolutely blew me away i could not put it down! i have not ever connected so well with book characters like I do with Holly and Virago. I devoured the book in less then two days and found myself squealing like a little kid when i saw there was another book!!!!
