A DARK AND STORMY KNIGHT: theme song and pretty graphics!

A DARK AND STORMY KNIGHT, the next book in my Knight Legends series, is slaying me with feelings! ♥

You guys know that I write a lot to music, and that every single book of mine has a soundtrack. Well, the soundtrack for A DARK AND STORMY KNIGHT makes me teary to even think about. I put very, very passionate and poignant songs on it on purpose…the love story that’s unfolding between Charaxus and Mara, an artist from this world, is so heartbreaking and GAH, just wait until you see these two women in action! Charaxus and Mara are both such essentially broken people…and through each other, they’re going to find the strength to heal themselves. And each other.

The song I’ve had on repeat during a lot of the really painful, important scenes is one of my absolute favorites. I was saving it to put in a soundtrack of a book that was really, really important…and this is the one. “Only You” by Yazoo (or Yaz) is THE song of this book (if you’ve never heard it–or hell, even if you have–give it a listen again. ♥ ).

Because I’m so madly in love with Charaxus and Mara, because I have so many feelings for these two beautiful, broken characters, and I have no other place to put them than writing them out, I made this photo manipulation of the two models I chose for Mara (left) and Charaxus (right). ♥

I’ll share some scenes soon. ♥ ♥ ♥
